What a Beautiful Mess

Breeding Fancy on Etsy is now Paper Plane Prints!

The decision about changing the shop name was a long and bitter-sweet one. But it's onward and upward from here, and I'm happy about the change.

It may take a while to get things up to the level I want for my new direction with the shop, so please excuse the dust!

Pink and Grey Nursery Decor

You’ve found the ultimate soft and frilly bedding for your baby girl’s nursery. It’s cotton candy pink with calming grey. Now you’ve got to find artwork worthy of the princess who will sleep there.

Figure out the style of art you like and then ask an artist to create some custom pieces for your nursery.  I’m often asked to match a photo, fabric swatch, or paint sample to a set of prints a client wishes to purchase. Most of my prints can be adjusted to suit my client’s d├ęcor needs.  It’s a fun challenge to do everything I can to make sure I produce artwork that will be just right.

The sweet pink and grey in the bedding featured here is accented with chevron and polka dots.  I have a selection of prints that can be tailored to this design. And if that’s not good enough I can create a piece that will tie it all together.  Check out the bedding, artwork, and other handcrafted finds that pull this room together.

Nutella Oreo Cookie Snacks: Nutoreos!

Nutella creations border on culinary genius. I won't pretend to contribute to that body of wonder (no baking, no recipes)... other than to offer one of my many sweet indulgences. Introducing ...

I used Golden Oreos with these because those were my addiction at the time. (An intervention has been staged and I'm clean 2 months, 6 days now.)

This "recipe" is a no-brainer:
STEP 1: twist
STEP 2: dollop
STEP 3: replace (resist the urge to lick the butter knife-- they only appear to be harmless)
STEP 4: smoosh
STEP 5: nom
STEP 5: repeat

Note: There were four other Nutoreos that were unharmed shamelessly devoured in the making of these cookies.
